Being able to ensure your treatments are lasting is crucial for ensuring clients are happy with the results, promoting them returning time & time again.
One of the best ways I find to do this especially with nails is to ask for feedback, ask the questions if nails haven’t lasted, listen to the results & put it into practise to improve. We have to learn to adapt in this industry. As we see times change so much which means that we also need to do this too.
I know this can be hard when we work solo, pair that with an incredibly competitive industry at times it can be isolating.
Here’s my top tips that I have learnt throughout the years to ensure my nail client were happy:
- Prep is KEY. Ensure that nail plate is free from everything for maximum adhesion.
- Correct application & finish around the cuticle will ensure nails are not prematurely lifting.
- If your client’s nails are lifting with acrylic more often, try builder gel (providing you’re qualified)
- Nails need to be a certain strength to hold acrylic if they’re thin it could promote lifting as the nails in effect throw off the acrylic.
- Double top coat any nails with nail art.
- ALWAYS cap builder gel & gel nails.
Being able to objectively assess the results we are getting from nails, the last ability & the feedback off our clients will make you stand out from the rest.
Hope this helps Queen!
